The Boeing Maritime Undersea Software Engineering organization is seeking a innovative, results-oriented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Cobalt Charger team in Herndon, VA
. Modernizing core systems and building web interfaces for high-impact defense applications. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security business organization and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance
.

Associate and Experienced Level Software Engineers.

Within the Boeing Defense - Electronics and Intelligence Systems (E&IS) organization, the Cobalt Charger team performs mission critical functionality for our customer. This position is part of a software development team that is modernizing a legacy solution into a modern container-based microservice architecture to produce custom navigation solutions in the most demanding environments.

Modernize Systems. Protect Missions.

• Develop software source code, unit tests, and documentation for assigned tasks
• Participate in daily Scrum team meetings for tasking status and prioritization
• Perform peer code reviews and software checkouts
• Perform software design reviews and create tasking backlog
• Perform software testing and defect tracking

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options, Herndon, VA.

• Active TS/SCI
• 3+ years of experience with web-based development, leveraging React
  
  JS, Redux, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, CSS

• 5 or more years  related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• 3 or more years of React-based web development framework experience
• Experience with Grafana data visualization framework
• Experience with containerized applications and the Kubernetes orchestration environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

• Associate: $92,650 - $125,350
• Experienced: $114,750 - $155,250
