• What you'll do:
• Provide enterprise-wide Security support and local Facility Security Officer/Contractor Program Security Officer support as part of the V2X Security team. Assist the security manager with the administration of DoD or other industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
• Assist with processing basic security tasks including maintaining clearance records, reviewing SF86s, processing security-related Government forms, and other security tasks under the oversight of the Security Manager. Initiative and sound judgment are required in this role.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Support the administration of DoD or other industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures that are non-IT related.
• Assess continuous vetting investigations and adjudications.
• Initiate and conduct reviews of SF86 electronic applications via the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) in support of the Security team.
• Assist with conducting personnel security briefs and debriefs.
• Address physical access to buildings, rooms, couriers, clearances, COMSEC, packages, documentation, and debriefings as needed.
• Assist with investigations of losses and security violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform other job duties as needed.

• Minimum Qualifications:
• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if a degree is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of related industrial security field experience with a Bachelor's; or an Associate with 4 years' of related industrial security field experience; or 6 years' of related industrial security field experience with a high school diploma.
• DoD Personnel Security (PERSEC) field experience.
• Experience supporting National Industrial Security Program
• Secret Clearance:
  Currently enrolled in DoD CE with active Secret eligibility
• Other Requirements:
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Business Acumen:
  Working knowledge of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), Security Information Management System (SIMS), and DoD Personnel Security procedures including ASCL and TASS.
• Skills:
  
  Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to multi-task, works well in a team, superior data entry skills.
• Software: SIMS, DISS, NBIS, SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Salary range will be based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
• USD $45,000 - $70,000 (salary range may vary by location).
