Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Auria is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer to join our amazing team to work on an Agile Development Team developing web-based microservices for command and control of space operations deployed in a containerized environment. This role is HYBRID in Colorado Springs, CO OR Dayton, OH OR Herndon, VA.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO- Builds documents, analyzes tests, integrates, debugs and maintains system architectures and software to provide scalable solutions composed of custom and open‑source software.
- Participates in Agile Teams to plan, develop enhancements and maintain software.
- Integrates commercial solutions including open‑source software into cloud native environments.
- Builds intuitive user interfaces to ease employment of technically complex services.
- Familiarity with microservice development of scalable solutions employing messaging (e.g., Rabbit
MQ) and REST APIs. - Unit and behavioral test (using Cucumber) development.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Security+ or CISSP or equivalents.
- Front‑end and back‑end development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, software management tools and source code repositories such as Git Hub, Gitlab and Jira.
- Ability to evaluate open‑source tools and recommend for employment.
- Familiarity with Document as Code such as Sphinx.
- Experience with NASA GMAT scripting.
- Experience with DoD (i.e., secure) application coding practices.
The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $150,000 - $195,000.
