Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software containing logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems. Applies appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles development documentation, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
Ensures software standards are met.
- BS and 9-13 yrs or MS and 7-11 yrs or equivalent*
- Security+, SSCP or CISSP certification within 6 months of start
- BS and 5-8 yrs or MS and 3-6 yrs or equivalent*
- Security+, SSCP or CISSP certification within 6 months of start
TS/SCI + adjudicated CI Poly required to start
Mandatory Skills- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience designing and developing commercial and/or government software solutions that are commensurate with the candidate’s experience
- Ability to independently problem solve assigned tasks
- Ability to learn quickly
- Experience designing and developing software solutions using Microsoft products (e.g., C#, ASP .NET, MVC, Visual Studio)
- Experience designing and developing web applications using java script frameworks/APIs (e.g., REACT framework, knockout JS, MVC, Cesium)
- Experience developing software in an Agile or Dev Ops environment.
- Experience developing micro services for an AWS cloud environment.
- Experience developing and managing a Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipeline.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise solutions that leverage web services (e.g., SOAP and/or Restful) to communicate with external systems.
- Experience designing and implementing database solutions to support software applications.
- Experience developing unit tests.
- Experience developing test automation software
