This is a full-time, on-site position located in Herne Bay. As the Head of Apprenticeships, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of apprenticeship programs. Key duties include developing and maintaining relationships with employers, ensuring compliance with apprenticeship standards, meeting recruitment targets, monitoring learner progress, and leading a team of tutors. You will play a vital role in creating strategies to improve the quality of programs and aligning them with industry demands while supporting the growth of the apprenticeship department.

• Experience in leadership, team management, and program coordination
• Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks, standards, and functional compliance requirements
• Proven track record in building employer partnerships and stakeholder engagement
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
• Relevant experience in the education, training, or construction industry is highly desirable
• Familiarity with further education and training programs is advantageous
• Relevant certifications or degrees in education, business management, or related fields are preferred
