We are looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 academic support for a student in Hernebay. This rewarding role is perfect for someone patient, engaging, and committed to helping students reach their full potential.
The Role
As an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with a student on a one-to-one basis, supporting their academic progress while building confidence, motivation, and independence. The successful SEN Tutor will create engaging lessons that meet the student's individual learning needs and encourage positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
Deliver personalised 1:1 academic support
Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
Build a positive and supportive learning environment
Monitor and report on student progress
Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement
Requirements
✔ Experience working as an SEN Tutor or supporting students with additional needs
✔ Strong understanding of differentiated learning strategies
✔ Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach
✔ Ability to build strong relationships with students and families
✔ Relevant teaching, tutoring, or SEN experience preferred
