About the Role

This is not an entry-level retail role.

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will help maintain the in-store experience Father Rabbit is known for. The standard is high, and it is upheld through attention to detail, consistency and care across everything we do.

You will be part of a small team responsible for delivering a calm, well run store while also contributing to sales and day-to-day operations.

There is also the opportunity to be involved in content and social media for the right person, along with room to grow within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating a store environment that feels calm, welcoming and consistently well presented
  • Helping customers make confident decisions across homewares, clothing and gifting
  • Maintaining high visual standards through merchandising, replenishment and daily care
  • Light cleaning to ensure the space is always presented at a high standard
  • Packing online orders accurately and efficiently
  • Supporting the day-to-day flow of the store, including sales, deliveries and general tasks
  • Switching between customer service, store presentation and operational tasks throughout the day
  • Working closely with the team to ensure the store remains polished and well run
  • Contributing to overall store performance and sales
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years retail experience in lifestyle, homewares, fashion or design-led retail
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Calm, confident and professional with customers
  • Able to guide customers and contribute to sales in a natural way
  • Comfortable with the hands‑on nature of the role, including cleaning, unpacking deliveries and packing orders
  • Reliable, organised and consistent in your work
  • Comfortable being part of content and appearing on social when needed
  • Weekend availability is required
