Overview
Salary during training: £12.71 per hour, rising to £16.31 per hour after training. This role starts with fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence. Based at the Herne Bay depot.
Annual earnings are estimated at £33,076 following completion of training, based on 39 hours per week, with 4 weeks holiday (a 5 week option may be available). Shifts cover early, middle, late, and 4-day week duties.

Responsibilities- Complete industry-leading training and secure your PCV licence, followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development as part of the Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
- Drive the Stagecoach fleet safely and confidently, delivering excellent customer service to all passengers.
- Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected, cared for, and looked after, including those who rely on public transport most.
- Provide flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to meet service needs.
- Assist customers with enquiries and ensure safe, smooth journeys for all travellers.
- Must be 18 years old and hold a UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Right to work in the UK (in-country presence of at least 183 days as part of DVLA requirements).
- A patient, safe, and courteous approach to driving; a positive, friendly attitude; and a passion for delivering great customer service.
- Willingness to learn and be part of a team.
- No prior bus driving experience required; training and PCV licence costs are covered.
