Position Summary:Lee’s Marketplace is a family-owned grocery chain committed to providing an enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. The Assistant Manager/Key Holder plays a key role in supporting overall store operations and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
During the day, this position may assist in opening the store, receiving deliveries, supporting the Grocery Manager with task delegation in center store, and offering hands‑on help across all departments as needed. In the evenings, the Assistant Manager/Key Holder assumes responsibility for total store operations in the absence of the Store Director and other senior leadership. This includes overseeing departmental performance, ensuring tasks assigned by department managers are completed, maintaining high standards of guest service, addressing guest concerns, and executing proper closing procedures—such as powering down equipment, securing the building, and locking the store for the night.
This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build their leadership skills and gain hands‑on experience in grocery retail operations.

- Open and/or close the store according to company procedures, including securing the building, setting alarms, and preparing registers and departments for business.
