Hire Level is looking for a Paralegal/Legal Assistant for our client in Herrin, Illinois. Job Category:

• $19.00-$21.00 an hour/Based on Experience.
• Paid Time Off
• Retirement

• Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Assist Attorney with document preparation for court cases.
• Manage all administrative responsibilities in the legal office.
• Schedule, organize and calendar court dates, meetings and depositions.
• Organize client files.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree or certification as a legal secretary, paralegal or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year legal assistant experience is preferred.
• Extensive professional secretarial experience or administrative support in a legal environment or closely related field requiring critical thinking, confidentiality is preferred.
• Strong social skills
• Experience preparing court documents and supporting an attorney in court functions is preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
