Responsibilities

Evaluate patient outcomes and modify care plans within the multidisciplinary team.

Provide explanations and instructions to patients regarding respiratory conditions and treatments, ensuring understanding.

Accept reassignment to other units as necessary.

Share clinical knowledge and serve as a role model for staff and students.

Plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care effectiveness.

Administer respiratory care as ordered by physicians, maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
Illinois License as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Certification: RRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care, BLS from AHA.
Experience:

Minimum 1 year as a Respiratory Therapist.
Required documents:
Copy of certifications, SSN, DOB, and one work reference.
