Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ICU/Progressive Care RN with at least two years of critical care experience to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical judgment, professional communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties regarding care plans and procedures.

• Recognize and report changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment.

• Contribute to a positive workplace environment by managing conflict professionally.

• Comply with Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.

• Participate in continuing education to maintain clinical knowledge and skills.

• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
Licenses & Certifications

Required:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse License

• Current CPR/BLS Certification

• ACLS Certification

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience

• Familiarity with Progressive Care Unit, Cardiac Services, Interventional Imaging, Emergency Room, Recovery Room, Mother-Baby/Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatrics, Infusion Therapy, and Oncology Clinical areas is a plus
