Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our Team.

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.89 per hour ON TOP OF YOUR HOURLY RATE.

• VACATION:

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay will be based on factors such as work location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions according to policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Completes required training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, lifting, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers on exterior areas of property.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work in multiple locations as needed.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on the gross profit of personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
