The Department of Neurosurgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full‑time dedicated Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary Neurosurgery team in Hershey, PA. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide specialized neuropsychological assessment and consultation for adult and geriatric patients undergoing neurosurgical evaluation and treatment. This role is integral to optimizing patient outcomes through cognitive assessment, surgical candidacy evaluations, and post‑operative care planning and follow‑up.

• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for patients with brain tumors, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, movement disorders, and other neurosurgical conditions.
• Collaborate with other neuropsychologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, and social workers to inform surgical planning and post‑operative care and provide cognitive and emotional support for patients and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and contribute to clinical decision‑making, documenting findings and recommendations in electronic medical records with clarity and timeliness, engaging in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to clinical research as appropriate.
• Mentor and teach medical students, neurosurgery residents and fellows, as well as Psychology Interns in our APA and APPIC approved program, and Neuropsychology Fellows.

• Ph.D. or Psy.
  
  D. in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology.
• Completion of an APA‑accredited Clinical Psychology internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology.
• Licensed—or license‑eligible—as a clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania.
• Board certification—or eligibility—in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP‑CN preferred).
• A track record of academic productivity and clinical excellence.
