Job Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations, medication management, and therapy for psychiatric patients aged 5-23 in outpatient and 7-18 in partial hospitalization settings
- Provide inpatient coverage for a 10-bed unit during assigned periods
- Perform new evaluations, follow-up care, and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania medical license
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Recent experience in treatment of children/adolescents - Experience with medication management, including controlled substances- BLS certification required
Working Hours
- Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week with an optional 4 hours additional outpatient for a total of 40 hours
- Inpatient coverage as needed
Skills
- Expertise in treating anxiety, affective, ADD/ADHD, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders
- Proficiency with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint applications
- Experience in pharmacotherapy, group and family therapy, and ECT
