Mental Health Physician for locum tenens coverage in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities include:- Managing patient caseloads with 10-12 patients daily, conducting 25-minute medication checks, 60-minute step-down evaluations, and 90-minute new evaluations for patients aged 5-18.
25-bed inpatient unit with outpatient services, occasional inpatient weekends, and vacation coverage. Typically works Monday to Friday with some flexibility for federal holidays off.
Qualifications & skills:Comfortable with medication management and able to handle a varied patient demographic.
Key duties:- Providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining documentation via an online portal.
