Locums Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient mental health services, primarily for patients aged 5-18, in a 25-bed unit with outpatient facilities.

Responsibilities include managing 10-12 patients daily, conducting 30-minute medication checks, 60-minute step-down assessments, and 90-minute new evaluations.

The position requires comfort with medication management and may include occasional inpatient weekend and vacation coverage.

Key duties encompass delivering quality psychiatric care, documenting in an online portal, and adhering to scheduled patient evaluations.

Qualifications include relevant medical licensing, expertise in mental health treatment, and proficiency in medication management.
