Senior Finance leadership role within Penn State Health (PSH) Medical Group (MG). Reports directly to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Integral part of senior leadership team within Finance Division. Dotted line reporting to Executive Senior Leader responsible for integrated complex Medical Group operations. Provides financial and administrative leadership, building collaborative relationships with senior management at all levels to develop, implement, monitor financial operations, reporting and strategies that advance PSH objectives while reducing costs.
Supports necessary management and accountability systems for results‑oriented high‑performance finance function; drives accountability within Medical Group for various locations, departments and sites, inclusive of College of Medicine. Key leader in organization, supporting collective partnerships within PSH Shared Services model, leveraging centralized functions cohesively and collaborating, providing actionable financial insights to medical group senior leadership.
Build collaborative relationships with senior management at all levels to further development, implementation and monitoring of financial operations, reporting and strategies that advance PSH objectives.
Support management and accountability systems for results‑oriented high‑performance finance function.
Drive accountability within Medical Group for locations, departments and sites, inclusive of College of Medicine.
QualificationsMinimum Qualification(s):
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related business field
- Medical Group experience
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible finance/accounting experience in a large, complex integrated health system or similarly complex healthcare provider setting
- Minimum of seven (7) years of leadership experience in a highly matrixed setting
Preferred Qualification(s):
- MBA or CPA
- Experience with in a Shared Services model
- Experience in an academic medical group
- Medical, dental and vision with no waiting period;
