Overview

Penn State Health – Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Vascular Sonographer II for the Heart & Vascular Ultrasound Laboratory.

Location:

Hershey, PA. Work Type:
Full Time, FTE 1.0. Shift: Varied. Evening differential: $2.00/hour;
Night differential: $2.50/hour. Hours vary 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM and 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM with on-call rotation.

Summary of Position

Responsible to perform diagnostic vascular studies and the Sonographer s component of therapeutic minimally invasive vascular procedures utilizing duplex ultrasound technology, continuous wave Doppler and other noninvasive vascular assessment technologies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Four (4) years  experience in a dedicated vascular laboratory required.
  • ARDMS RVT Registry required.
  • Current BCLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
