Responsible for assisting the pharmacists in processing, preparing and dispensing prescription medications. Provide extraordinary customer service to all our patients via face‑to‑face and phone interactions. Professionally interact and communicate with medical and patient teams throughout the institution. Organize and manage stock to ensure smooth and efficient daily activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Six (6) months of recent experience (within the past two years) in a retail pharmacy with educational background in medical terminology, sig codes and computer use, previous customer service skills, patient interaction and communication skills, third‑party billing and computer experience including prior authorizations, prescription refills and inventory management.
- PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certified Board) required.
- Must pass a proficiency test with a 70% score.
- Compounding experience not required but recommended.
