The Senior Staff Chaplain oversees, manages, and integrates all spiritual care in the children’s hospital under the supervision of the Director of Pastoral Care. The Senior Staff Chaplain will design, implement, and oversee a pediatric chaplain research fellowship program and serve as its program coordinator. The Senior Staff Chaplain will provide primary support to staff, ICU clinical care, and will foster strong collaborative relationships with children’s hospital and physician fellowship leadership.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATION(S)
- Master of Divinity or equivalent
- Minimum of four (4) units of ACPE accredited Clinical Pastoral Education.
- Ordination or faith group endorsement for chaplaincy ministry.
- Three (3) years post-residency clinical chaplaincy experience.
- Board Certification in Chaplaincy (BCC) through APC, NACC, or NAJC.
