What You'll Do as a Behavior Consultant
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop ABA-based treatment plans for individuals with autism and related needs.
  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance to direct care staff, including behavior technicians and support personnel.
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness using data, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with families, school teams, and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral strategies.
  • Support staff through consultation, feedback, and training to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure services align with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing clinical collaboration within a school-based setting.
Our Ideal Behavior Consultant
  • Experienced: Has experience providing ABA-based services in a school-based setting, including conducting behavioral assessments, developing and overseeing treatment plans, and supporting individuals with autism and related needs.
  • Licensed: Holds active Behavior Consultant licensure and meets state requirements for school-based services.
  • Supervision

    Experience:

    Comfortable supervising and supporting direct care staff, including providing feedback, guidance, and training as needed.
  • Data-Focused: Uses behavioral data to monitor progress, evaluate effectiveness, and adjust treatment plans.
  • Collaborative: Works effectively with families, school teams, and interdisciplinary professionals to support consistent implementation of services.
  • Detailed & Accurate: Maintains clinical records that are accurate, timely, and compliant with requirements.
