Position OverviewThe Behavioral Health Technician works directly with students with autism in a specialized school-based setting. You'll support behavioral, communication, social, and daily living skill development while using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies.
Responsibilities- Provide direct classroom support to students with autism
- Implement behavior support plans and IEP goals
- Track and document student progress
- Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development
- Collaborate with teachers, Behavior Consultants, and school staff
- Participate in ongoing supervision and training
- High school diploma required
- Experience working with children preferred, but not required
- Interest in education, psychology, autism services, behavioral health, or human services
- Patient, dependable, structured, and team-oriented
- Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
