Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Reg

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess patients with breathing difficulties, provide respiratory treatments, and manage respiratory care equipment to support effective patient care.

• Assess patients’ respiratory conditions and monitor vital signs.
• Administer oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and respiratory medications as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic procedures.
• Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment use.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state license where required.
• Current NBRC credential, such as CRT or RRT, as applicable.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
• Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.

• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• BLS certification; ACLS or PALS as required by the assignment.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation and emergency respiratory care.
