Clinical Dietitian

Join Encompass Health Mechanicsburg as a Dietitian, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, integrated care aimed at helping patients recover from life-changing illnesses and injuries. As a Dietitian at our facility, you will assess patients' nutritional needs, develop and implement nutrition programs, and evaluate and report the results. You will work alongside a team dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through expertly designed nutritional strategies tailored to each individual's recovery journey.

• Assess patient health needs and diet restrictions.
• Create dietary plans tailored to the individual's condition and preferences.
• Consult with physicians and healthcare personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and modify dietary plans based on evaluation.
• Educate patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and food selection and preparation.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in case management, care planning and quality assurance activities.
• Strong understanding of nutrition and its impact on physical recovery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Ability to create and analyze clinical nutrition programs.
• Proficiency in dietary education tools and techniques.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
