Title: Food Quality & Safety Specialist

Location: Hershey, PA

Assignment Duration: 12–18 months (Part-Time)

Shift: 1st Shift

This position supports Innovation and New Product Development with a strong focus on food safety, speed to market, and quality compliance. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment that requires quick response to evolving business needs.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Quality Systems & Labs team and collaborating with R&D, Operations, Engineering, Packaging, and Commercial teams, this role ensures all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards are upheld throughout the Agile Innovation and early‑stage development processes.

• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, GMPs, FDA regulations, and Quality Design Principles
• Understanding of diverse manufacturing processes — including dairy, confectionery, cereals, nuts, baking, extrusion, and warehousing
• Familiarity with new product development life cycles and innovation processes

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Food Quality and Food Manufacturing
• Solid understanding of Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance
• FDA PCQI certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SAP
