Penn State Health has an opportunity for a qualified APP to join the Neuro-Critical Care team at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. This position will be providing inpatient coverage in the Neuroscience Critical Care Unit managing the care of critically ill neurosurgical or neurological patients. The APP will provide care in collaboration with the neuro-critical care team, neurology, and neurosurgery.
The NCCU offers a supportive and dynamic work environment that is collaborative and fosters autonomy. The individual will join a team of 4 physicians and 9 APPs. The APP will work a varied schedule of days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends requirements. The individual will enjoy flexibility in scheduling and opportunities for professional growth. Prior experience working in neuroscience is encouraged but not required.
Prior work experience in critical care is highly recommended.
Nurse Practitioner candidates will need to hold an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse practitioner certification is required for this position.
