The LPN will provide direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider. The LPN will observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care in the electronic medical record (EMR). The LPN will instruct patients and families according to teaching plans. The LPN will communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate individualized patient care.
Under the general supervision of the Mohs surgeon, this position requires performing all duties related to assistance during skin cancer surgery in an outpatient setting under local anesthesia. Applicants should be motivated, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast‑paced environment, and willing to learn and grow within the practice.
- Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
