Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store in a visually appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience.

Pay range starting at $10.00/hr-$10.10/hr.

Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as education, location, meeting minimum job requirements, training, and experience will influence the final salary for new hires.

What You'll Do

• Provide an exceptional shopping experience to encourage customer return, demonstrating product knowledge and customer service skills
• Maintain visual standards in your assigned sales floor zones
• Operate the register, process sales transactions, and promote add-on sales with benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Assist with planogram updates, including store layout and merchandising
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners
• Work with store management to prevent theft and misuse of spells or wizardry
• Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve store goals
• Perform any other duties assigned by your Store Leader

• Previous retail experience preferred; passion for music and pop culture is a plus!
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Minimum age of 16 years old
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds
