Are you passionate about providing the freshest, high-quality products, customer-focused, and looking for an opportunity to shine in a dynamic environment? We are looking for an energetic Produce Clerk to join our fresh foods team!
What You Will Do:
Prepare products: Crisp, trim, and prep fresh fruits and vegetables for the sales floor to ensure top quality.
Assist customers: Provide friendly, knowledgeable service, answering inquiries and helping customers select the best seasonal produce.
Maintain displays: Stock, rotate, and arrange produce cases and tables, ensuring proper product rotation for maximum freshness and visual appeal.
Ensure safety: Strictly adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols, including the thorough cleaning of prep areas, floors, and display fixtures.
Collaborate: Communicate with department leadership regarding inventory needs, quality concerns, and customer feedback.
What We Are Looking For:
A passion for fresh food and a basic understanding of fruit and vegetable handling, or an eagerness to learn.
A professional, courteous attitude with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
The physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy boxes of produce, and work safely in varying temperatures.
Sharp attention to detail regarding product quality, removing bruised or spoiled items, and maintaining clean work areas.
Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus, though we will provide full training for the right candidate who shows a positive attitude and willingness to work hard.
