• Install, repair, operate, and maintain potable and non-potable water systems, public and well water distribution systems, sanitary drainage systems, sewage grinder and ejector pumps, storm water drainage systems, water treatment systems, and cooling water systems.
• Install, repair, operate, and maintain restaurant and food preparation equipment, gas piping systems, swimming pool equipment, plumbing fixtures, piping, valves, water heaters, regulators, gas heaters, thermostats, control devices, meters, steam piping and trap systems, and public restroom equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of verifiable work experience in the plumbing trade (one year of trade-school training may substitute for one year of work experience).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Successful completion of a post‑offer employment physical exam.
• Pass respirator health screening.
• Pass a trade aptitude test.
• Position designated as Safety Sensitive; successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test is required.

• Working knowledge of all plumbing-related tools.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal codes relating to trade.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive teamwork approach.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.

• Work at heights of up to 100 feet.
• Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Wear company-supplied safety equipment.
• Work with chemicals.
• Supply hand and related tools.
• Flexible working hours including shift work, weekends, and holidays.
• Union position with work schedule based on seniority; must meet scheduled requirements, likely including evening and weekend hours.
