Management Accountant

Our client is a multi-site, multi-brand hospitality and food service group, including franchised operations, entering a pivotal phase of its growth. They are looking for a Management Accountant to join a small central finance team, reporting to a Director and supported by an external accountant.

The role is based on-site during the probation period, but is open to hybrid work after an initial 6 months.

Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, across multiple entities

Produce site and brand-level P&L packs with variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year

Own weekly and monthly KPI reporting, including sales mix, labour %, food cost % and EBITDA by site Monitor cash and working capital, including weekly cash forecasting, settlements, supplier terms, VAT and PAYEPerform balance sheet reconciliations, debtor/creditor reviews and intercompany accounting

Support budgeting and rolling forecasts across sales, labour, food, overheads and capex

Track royalty, marketing levy and franchise fee obligations by brand

Maintain month-end processes and work with the external accountant and auditors to keep files audit-ready

Improve the flow of data from POS to the ledger and automate routine reporting

Key Skills Multi-site hospitality experience is essential; experience in a multi-brand or franchised environment is a strong advantageACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified, or part-qualified with strong experience

Proven month-end, reconciliation and management reporting experience

Strong Excel skills, with experience of POS data and ERP or consolidation tools

Comfortable working in high-volume, low-margin trading models

Able to turn numbers into clear actions for site and operations teams

Hands-on and organised, comfortable working with a Director and an external accountant
