Location: Hertfordshire

Our client is a successful manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Royston. They are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave (12 months).

This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone with strong customer service and coordination experience. A key part of the position will involve scheduling appointments for the external sales team, so excellent diary management skills and a good understanding of UK geography are essential.

Main duties will include:

  • Answering customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments for the external sales team across the UK
  • Managing diaries and ensuring efficient route planning and appointment allocation
  • Promoting new products via outbound calls and email campaigns
  • Providing technical product information and advice to customers
  • Responding to customer queries quickly and professionally
  • Processing customer information accurately and maintaining internal systems
  • Providing general sales administration and team support

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in diary management, scheduling or appointment coordination
  • Strong customer service experience within a busy office environment
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK and confidence planning schedules efficiently
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • A calm, professional and confident telephone manner
  • Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • A positive, enthusiastic and team-focused approach
