Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor - Large-Scale Residential Project - Northern Home Counties

Salary: £50,(Apply online only) - £75,(Apply online only) + package (dependent on experience)
A leading residential developer / main contractor is seeking an Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a large-scale residential development in the Northern Home Counties. The project comprises a mix of traditional housing, apartment blocks, and associated residential facilities, offering long-term security and excellent career progression.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to step up, take on greater responsibility, and gain exposure to a complex, multi-phase residential scheme. You will work closely with a Senior QS and Commercial Manager, with a clear pathway toward running your own project.

- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
- Valuations, variations, and cost control
- Assisting with project reporting and cost forecasting
- Attending site, progress, and commercial meetings
- Supporting the successful commercial delivery of the residential scheme
- Experience with in residential construction (traditional housing, apartments, or mixed‑use schemes)
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts and the full project lifecycle
- Confident communicator with a proactive and organised approach
- Ambitious and keen to progress into a lead or project‑running role
