Senior Event Production Manager

Location: Hertfordshire

Hybrid working: 3 days in office Multi-day conferences running to £3-5m, audiences of 1,500-plus, multiple content streams running in parallel, and a client roster drawn from the upper tier of global business. Projects, Production and Creative teams sit under one roof and work closely together, which means delivery decisions get made quickly and ideas actually travel. The Role Reporting to the Production Director, the Event Senior Production Manager leads day-to-day production delivery across complex, high-value projects, from early planning and supplier procurement through live delivery and de-rig, with full budget accountability throughout.

- Own production delivery from planning through to live and de-rig
- Manage production budgets, keeping projects on track commercially
- Source, brief, negotiate with and manage suppliers and contractors
- Produce and maintain schedules, technical specs and H&S documentation
- Lead on-site crew management and oversee builds and live delivery
- Support the Production Director with key decisions and risk escalation
- Collaborate with Project and Creative teams to translate concepts into delivery
- Support and develop junior production team members The Candidate The right person for this Event Senior Production Manager role has a solid track record delivering complex, high-quality events end to end, with deep practical knowledge across AV, set build, scenic, lighting, rigging, logistics and site operations. You are commercially confident, organised under pressure, and used to holding budget accountability across multi-workstream projects.

Experience across full project management from design through to delivery is beneficial but not essential. Production professionals from adjacent event formats, including exhibitions, experiential or large-scale corporate, are equally welcome to apply for the Event Senior Production Manager position, provided the production fundamentals and supplier management experience are there.
