SEN Teaching Assistant

Overview:
Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling new role at an excellent primary school in St Albans?

We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who can work full-time with a Year 5 student until the end of the academic year.

You will be expected to provide calm support, helping them excel in their overall development.

You will need to:

* Work as a SEN Teaching Assistant by attending to the education, personal and social needs of the pupil.

* Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

* Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.

* Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding.

* Within your role as a SEN Teaching assistant you will need to help support the teaching of literacy, numeracy and other specific curriculum areas.

Qualifications/Requirements

* Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant

* Strong knowledge of the SEN students and how to best support them.

* A calm and patient personality

* Confidence in maintaining a good code of behaviour.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to inspire and motivate students

This position is employed via T4 Teachers.
