About the Role
We are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Hertfordshire. This role involves supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning in a safe and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise whole classes during teacher absence, following pre-set lesson plans
Maintain good order and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support pupils to stay on task and complete assigned work
Respond appropriately to questions and provide general guidance where needed
Report any issues or concerns to teaching staff or senior leaders
Always uphold safeguarding and health & safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
