Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and student development

• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback

• Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school behaviour policies

• Adapt teaching methods to support students of varying abilities and learning needs

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership teams

• Contribute to the wider school community and student development, including tutor or pastoral responsibilities

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting

• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

• Confident classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate students

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A passionate and proactive approach to teaching and learning

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
