Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

BHPP Academy, in partnership with Hertford Town Football Club, is excited to recruit a Sports Lecturer to join our part‑time further education programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and qualified sports educator to make a real impact on the next generation of players and professionals.

We are primarily looking for a teacher to deliver high‑quality classroom learning. You will deliver NCFE Level 3 Sport qualifications as part of a structured and supportive college programme aimed at preparing learners for progression into apprenticeships, employment, or higher education.

• Full‑time hours:
  Monday – Friday, 9 am‑5 pm (term time only)
• Delivery of classroom‑based NCFE Level 3 Sport qualifications
• Support with GCSE Maths & English delivery where required
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Experience working in a college, training provider, or sports education environment
• A degree‑level qualification (essential)
• Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or willingness to work towards it
• QTLS and/or PGCE (desirable)
• An interest in football coaching (desirable but not essential)
• A passion for developing young people and helping them reach their full potential
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
