Working Pattern: 3 or 4 days per week (Wednesday‑Friday or Monday, Wednesday‑Friday)

A friendly village primary school in the Ware area seeks a passionate Year1/2 Class Teacher. The role focuses on inclusion, relationships, and genuine care for every child. The successful candidate will work in a small Church of England village school with small class sizes and learning support assistants.

• Full responsibility for a mixed Year1/2 class on a fixed‑term contract until 31

  2027.
• Deliver KS1 lessons using Little Wandle Phonics, ensuring effective phonics instruction.
• Support and adapt learning for two pupils with Autism and other children with SEND.
• Build positive relationships, promote inclusion, and foster a supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent KS1 teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Little Wandle Phonics.
• Experience supporting children with Autism and SEND.
• A therapeutic and inclusive approach to teaching.
