Pay Range: £28,000 to £31,000. Full‑time; part‑time considered.
Role OverviewEmployment and Skills Trainer in Reed in Partnership's Employability Division.
Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver high‑quality employability training sessions (e.g., CV writing, interview skills, job goal identification).
- Maintain a professional training environment and course materials.
- Promote courses to internal and external stakeholders to enhance submissions.
- Assess and evaluate participant progress, providing performance feedback to Employment Advisers.
- Accurately report participant attendance and achievements.
- Collaborate with Employment Advisers to identify suitable courses for participants.
- Generous base salary (pro‑rated for part‑time).

- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in welfare‑to‑work or similar sector.
- Background in preparing and delivering training courses.
- A minimum of 2 A‑Levels or equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
- GCSE English Language Grade B or equivalent Level 2 qualification (or Level 2 Literacy Assessment at interview, or international equivalents).
- Recognised teaching qualification such as PTTLS or PGCE.
- Empathy and motivation for members.
- Passion for delivering excellent jobs and long‑term positive changes.
- Resilience, creativity and adaptability.
- Willingness to travel locally to deliver training/courses/meet Learners/Employers.
- Fluency in a second language.
