***** About us and the role
** We are seeking a Learning Coach to join our dedicated team at Avanti Meadows Primary School. This role would ideally suit a current Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge, or someone who is looking to start a career working with our young people in education.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils to thrive both in and beyond the classroom, working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide high-quality learning and pastoral support. Whether supporting individual learners, small groups or whole-class activities, you will help create an inclusive and encouraging environment where every child feels valued and able to achieve their full potential.

This is a role for someone who brings enthusiasm, empathy and a genuine passion for education. You will contribute to a culture where every child is recognised as a unique individual, supporting not only their academic progress but also their social and emotional development. Through building positive relationships with pupils, collaborating with colleagues, engaging with families and supporting children with a range of needs, including SEND, you will help shape a school experience that is inclusive, connected and meaningful for every  return, you will become part of a supportive and collaborative school community where your contribution is valued, and where you will have opportunities to develop your skills and grow professionally through working alongside dedicated colleagues.
* School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.
* As a growing school at the centre of a developing community, Avanti Meadows offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team. Surrounded by fields and new housing estates, the school is a centre for the new community developing in the north of Bishop’s Stortford. The school is rated “good” with “outstanding” in personal development.

Avanti Meadows is a non-faith, community school that embraces inclusion and diversity. “From the very start, pupils develop the deep consideration for others, self-reflection and kind relationships that are at the heart of this school.” Avanti Meadows Ofsted Inspection Report, March 2024

Our school is a vibrant, exciting place to be that is open to big ideas and creativity, all with a genuine focus on pupil and staff wellbeing.“Through our yoga sessions, children are learning to self-regulate, they are learning that they have the ability to control themselves, to try and calm themselves down and to be in the moment” - Sara Thompson, Yoga Teacher Our staff are inspired and passionate about their roles, the vision of the school, and providing the most fulfilling learning experience for pupils.

Learning is a quest to discover each student’s unique gifts and potential, and to lay the foundation for their lifelong journey of learning.“We have the most amazing staff members; it’s really evident that the team are very close to one another, and there is a real synergy in their approach to children’s learning.” - Sally Allan, Executive Principal
