Salary: £100–£120 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications

Teach Now is recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in Hertfordshire. This is a great opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys taking an active role in the classroom and is comfortable supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2.
You will work closely with class teachers, deliver planned learning activities, lead small groups and interventions, and provide class cover when required. There may also be opportunities to support pupils with additional learning or SEN needs.
The role
Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities.
Lead targeted interventions in English and maths.
Support pupils individually and in small groups.
Provide whole-class cover where appropriate.
Help maintain positive behaviour and a purposeful learning environment.
Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress.
We are looking for
HLTA status or a relevant Level 3 qualification, ideally with HLTA-level experience.
Strong KS1 and/or KS2 classroom experience.
Confidence leading groups and covering classes.
Good behaviour management and communication skills.
A proactive, dependable and encouraging approach.
