Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum (M1–UPS3), dependent on experience and qualifications

Full-time, Long-term Temporary
Start:
September 2026 – immediate/as soon as possible

Teach Now is seeking an engaging KS2 Teacher for a long-term primary opportunity in Hertfordshire.

The school is looking for a teacher who can combine strong academic expectations with an encouraging classroom culture, helping pupils become increasingly confident and independent as they progress through Key Stage 2.

The role

Plan and teach engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.

Build pupils' confidence in English, maths and the wider curriculum.

Monitor attainment and use assessment to inform future teaching.

Differentiate effectively for pupils of varying abilities.

Maintain a calm, purposeful and positive classroom.

Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and school colleagues.

Requirements

UK Qualified Teacher Status.

Recent primary teaching or strong KS2 placement experience.

Secure knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

Effective behaviour and classroom management.

High expectations for pupil progress and achievement.

Experienced teachers and ECTs with strong KS2 experience are welcome to apply.
