The Business;

You will be working for a leading supplier of critical components into the aerospace & aviation industry who manufacture and assemble complex parts onsite at their well-established facility. They work with some of the biggest names in the aerospace world and are seen as a key supplier to these big names.

The Role ;

The Lead FAIR Engineer is responsible for full management of First Article Inspect Reports (FAIR) for the implementation of new products / changes to existing products. It is vital all parts are compliant with strict aerospace standards. The role leads, manages and develops the FAIRs team, coordinates actions required to progress FAIRs to final approval and sign off. You will be responsible for the accuracy, detailed completion and review of all documentation.

What we need from you;

• Previous First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) writing
• Full life cycle management of the FAIR process
• Strong GD&T and quality principles
• Management / mentorship of a small team
