This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a relevant engineering qualification who is looking to build a long-term career within technical sales and precision manufacturing. The role offers full training and the chance to work closely with customers, engineering teams, and production departments within a highly specialised engineering environment.

The Successful Trainee Sales Engineer - Package:

 * £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

The Successful Trainee Sales Engineer - Role Duties:

* Support the sales and quotations team with incoming customer enquiries

* Assist with preparing quotations from engineering drawings and customer specifications

* Liaise with production and engineering departments regarding manufacturing feasibility and lead times

* Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings including tolerances and dimensions

* Support customer communication throughout the enquiry and quotation process

* Maintain CRM systems and quotation records accurately

* Assist with Excel-based pricing, reporting and sales analysis

* Support technical discussions regarding materials, manufacturing methods and project requirements

* Develop knowledge of CNC machining and precision engineering processes

The Successful Trainee Sales Engineer - Requirements:

* Relevant engineering qualification is essential

* Strong interest in engineering, manufacturing and technical sales

* Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel

* Organised and detail-oriented approach

* Eager to learn and develop within a technical commercial environment

* Positive and professional attitude
