Residential House building Our client is a growing and ambitious house builder based in Hertfordshire, delivering high-quality residential developments across the region. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Finance Manager to play a key role in supporting the business through its next phase of growth.

The Role Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial management of the business, providing robust financial control, insightful reporting, and strategic support to operational teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets Cashflow forecasting and treasury management Financial reporting for development projects, including cost value reconciliation support Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger, and payroll processes Supporting year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors and advisors Ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements Developing and improving financial controls, systems, and processes Providing financial insight and analysis to support commercial decision-making About You Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
