Paraplanner, East Hertfordshire Office based Up to £45,000 (negotiable) A well-established wealth management firm, operating as the financial planning division of a respected legal business, is seeking an experienced paraplanner. The organisation delivers holistic financial planning solutions and offers whole-of-market advice. The successful candidate will join a professional and collaborative team, supporting advisers in the delivery of high-quality financial planning to clients.

Role The paraplanner will provide technical support to financial advisers by preparing compliant and well-structured reports, research, and financial planning analysis. The role involves working closely with advisers to ensure financial solutions meet client objectives and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, retirement planning and estate planning Prepare suitability reports, recommendation summaries and technical documentation Assist with fact-find analysis and identify appropriate financial planning strategies Carry out product and fund comparisons, portfolio analysis and cashflow modelling Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures Maintain accurate records and support the advice process from initial enquiry to implementation Benefits Salary up to £45,000 (negotiable) Study support for further professional qualifications Pension and life assurance scheme Supportive working environment focused on professional development The package can depend upon candidate's experience and need Requirements Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA or financial planning environment Progress toward Chartered status is advantageous but not essential Application Applications are invited from experienced paraplanners seeking a long-term role within a professional and growing financial planning team.
