Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller

Hertford, Hertfordshire £60,000-£65,000 + benefits Permanent Office based
I'm working with a growing manufactuirng and production Hertfordshire business looking for a genuinely hands-on Finance Manager or Financial Controller to work closely with the Finance Director and take significant ownership across the day-to-day finance function.
This isn't a role where you'll simply produce a set of numbers and pass them upwards.
They need someone who understands how a business actually operates, can get underneath the numbers, manage and develop a small finance team and be comfortable challenging or supporting senior stakeholders when required.
It's likely to suit someone currently operating as a Finance Manager, Group Finance Manager, Financial Controller or strong No.2 to an FD within an SME or operational business.

You'll have broad responsibility across the finance function, including:

• Ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning
• Producing useful analysis for the FD and wider leadership team
