Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum

We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Clinical Registered Care Home Manager to lead a high-quality care service in Bishop’s Stortford. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically qualified, NMC-registered professional with a strong understanding of CQC compliance to take full operational responsibility for a well-established care home.

The Role:

As Registered Manager, you will be accountable for delivering outstanding, person-centred care while ensuring the home operates safely, effectively, and in full compliance with CQC regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall leadership and day-to-day management of the care home
Ensure compliance with CQC standards, legislation, and best practice
Maintain and continuously improve clinical care quality
Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary care team
Manage recruitment, supervision, appraisals, and staff performance
Oversee health & safety, safeguarding, and risk management
Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and financial performance
Build strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external agencies
Prepare for and lead CQC inspections

Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Care Home Manager
NMC Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with clinical background
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
Track record of achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Experience managing budgets and operational performance
Relevant Health & Social Care management qualifications (or willingness to work towards)
